As if blood glucose levels didn’t cause enough problems, now there is one more.  Diabetic neuropathy linked to impotence in men is increasing at alarming rates.

Being sexually active is very important to do your best in life.  Almost everything in a man-woman relationship ultimately boils down to enjoying a good sex life.  Everything, from the way you dress to the car you drive, your mannerisms, your desire to succeed in life can be indicative of or connected to the healthy sexual relationship you enjoy.  Needless to say, a depressed person may not be able to maintain an aroused sexual passion, which leads to further mood swings and heightened depression.

Diabetes causes the inside of the arteries to be lined with plaque.  This reduces the amount of blood flow to the penis, which may not cause the desired state of hardness to facilitate penetration and enjoyable sex.  They may also suffer from diabetic neuropathy, which damages the nerves; another cause of erectile dysfunction.

Diet plays a crucial role in deciding how active a sex life you should enjoy.  The obese or the fat ones are not only slower in getting roused with carnal desire, but  make very bad sexual partners too.  You have to remember that it is equally important to ‘turn her on’ too and you do that better with a shapely physique and better physical condition.  70% of getting into a good physical condition is about eating right.  Being a diabetic patient, it is all the more important that you follow a healthy diet and never give excuses to indulge in your favorite choice of refined food.
